(NEW)One of the many great reasons to join us at Reunion 2012:  Friday afternoon, June 15, in Nourse Little Theatre there will be a reading of selections from '67 class member Paula Bonnell's award-winning collection of poetry, Airs & Voices.  Carleton-alum actors from  '67, '97, '98, '07, and '11 will serve as readers.  To hear a few samples of Airs & Voices, please CLICK HERE

Baker School '67 Service Project:  Friday morning (June 15), 9 am to 11am:  Following up on our successful two-part service project at the Laura Baker School during our 40th reunion five years ago, Bob Aby has arranged another social outing with their developmentally disabled students and clients. (Click on image at left to visit Laura Baker's website.) This year, Laura Baker welcomes the Class of '67 to help with a fun photography project they have scheduled on Friday morning.  Sign- ups are requested – click "Read More" below.
  • The project will be two hours, 9 am - 11 am.
  • A photographer will be coming in to work with Laura Baker students and clients on a photography project.
  • They will be taking photos around town for a Northfield Arts Guild (NAG) exhibit and calendar.
  • We would accompany the students and clients, and lend photography guidance and encouragement.

We request sign-ups ahead for approximate headcount and logistical planning, but they are not absolutely required in case you get wind of our service project late.  Sign-ups are now open via this website -- see auto-email button below – or send email to "Service-Project@Carleton67.net" to express your interest.   We encourage you to plan your travel so you can get to Northfield by early enough Friday to support our service project.  Any additional instructions and directions will be sent to participants in early June, and will be available in our townhouses Thursday.

Housing Reminder:  The class of '67 will be housed primarily in the Village Townhouses (downhill from Musser toward downtown). These townhouses have suites that accommodate 3-6 people. If you register early and coordinate with people you'd like to share a suite with, you will have a better room assignment.  In fact, if you do not register early enough and we overflow the townhouses, you will not be housed with the Class of '67.  So, contact the people you want to be near for reunion weekend, get online, register, and request common housing -- requests to be grouped with you should come from all classmates you ask to be grouped with.

Northfield
Golf ClubGolfers:  Team up with classmates for golf at Northfield Golf Course -- the Carleton Open on Thursday afternoon (June 14) of reunion weekend.  Advance sign-up required.  Sign up when you register, or go back to the registration system later and add on the golf.   The event is a scramble format with 4-person teams.  We will arrange to group our classmates together.
